Application scope of 651 rubber waterstop
Deformation joints of underground structures, dams, water storage tanks, swimming pools, roofs and other building materials and structures are used to prevent water use. This product is mainly used for the foundation engineering, underground facilities, tunnel culvert, water aqueduct, water retaining dam, etc., which are set in the construction joint and deformation joint when the concrete is cast in place, so as to ensure the service life of the engineering construction.
Installation of 651 waterstop
In the construction, the rubber waterstop is partially or completely embedded in the concrete in the process of concrete pouring. If there are many sharp stones and sharp steel heads in the concrete, the tear strength of rubber is 3-5 times lower than the tensile strength, so once it is punctured or torn, it does not need much external force, and the crack will expand Attention should be paid to the positioning method and pouring and tamping pressure to prevent the waterstop from being punctured. The specific precautions are as follows:
A. Rubber waterstop can not be exposed to the sun for a long time to prevent rain and contact with highly polluting chemicals. The product should be stored at - 10 ℃ - + 30 ℃ with relative humidity of 40% - 80%.
B. In the transportation and construction of products, prevent mechanical and steel bar damage. The finished products should be placed straight and flat during storage and transportation without heavy pressure.
C. In the construction process, the product installation must be fixed to avoid displacement when pouring concrete, and ensure the correct position of the waterstop in the concrete.
D. In general, we can fix the waterstop by using additional steel bars, special fixtures, lead wire and formwork. If perforation is required, it can only be fixed in the edge installation area of waterstop without damaging other parts.
E. When ordering, the user should calculate the product length according to the engineering structure and design drawings. The special-shaped structure should have the drawing description. Try to connect the waterstop into a whole in the factory. If it is necessary to connect on site, the method of vulcanization bonding or cold bonding (rubber waterstop) or welding (plastic waterstop) can be used. If the user has difficulty in connection, technical personnel can be sent for on-site guidance.
Classification of Waterstops
The waterstop is made of elastic material, mixed with a variety of auxiliary additives, after mixing and vulcanizing. According to the different materials of products, they can be divided into natural rubber waterstop, chloroprene rubber waterstop, nitrile rubber waterstop, EPDM rubber waterstop, plastic (PVC) waterstop and waterstop joint.
