Beishenshu landfill is one of the most advanced landfills in China. The HDPE anti-seepage geomembrane produced by zhongxinyu project was officially put into operation in October 2004 in beishenshu sanitary landfill site. The system has strong adaptability and adjustability, and embodies the scientific concept of circular economy. The system aims at the advanced treatment of two major pollutants: leachate and landfill gas. The leachate is collected to the regulating tank through the leachate collection pipe at the bottom of the site, and then transported to the leachate treatment workshop for treatment. The main treatment process adopts the combination of biochemical and membrane, with a daily treatment capacity of 200 tons. The water quality after treatment has fully reached the national secondary discharge water standard, which is used for greening and dust reduction. After passing through biogas collection system and purification system, landfill gas enters into landfill gas generator set for power generation. The generator set can generate 500kW per hour, which can supply power for the production and living of the whole site. At present, beishenshu has basically achieved self-sufficiency in water and electricity, and has realized sustainable development, which has played a certain demonstration effect and radiation role in improving landfill gas treatment technology and landfill gas treatment technology in China.

Beishenshu landfill site is equipped with a comprehensive environmental control system. "Anti flying net" is set up in the landfill area to prevent the disorderly floating of light waste and causing white pollution to the surrounding area. The odor control of landfill site mainly adopts spraying biological deodorant, which is environmentally friendly and efficient. At the same time, the deodorization air cannon is set in the key odor control area, and the anti hanging stretching membrane is installed on the regulating tank, and the air extraction and biological deodorization system are equipped to effectively prevent the odor from polluting the environment. Fly control in landfill site is carried out by spraying insecticides manually and mechanically. Ecological restoration was carried out after covering the surface of landfill, the vegetation rate of the whole site reached 74%, and the green area was nearly 250000 square meters. The landfill site is equipped with an environmental monitoring system to monitor the pollution of leachate, biogas and water, atmosphere, soil and groundwater in the surrounding environment. All kinds of monitoring data and materials are complete.
